Amy E. Bryant
Middle Grade and YA Fantasy Author
Why, hello there!
I’m Amy, and I love writing Children’s & YA Fantasy Adventure, with a little bit of magic and lots of heart. ✨💖
I live with my family in the South Island of New Zealand – a bowshot from the world’s most gorgeous river – where I especially enjoy discovering new favourite stories and raving over (or analysing) book to film adaptions.
My upcoming fantasy novel, The Lion and the Mage (for ages 10-14), recently won The Oxford / Pushkin Children’s Fantasy Prize, as well as the ACFW Genesis Award for the Middle Grade and YA category. I’m in the process of pursuing publication, and I can’t wait to share it with you one day!
I’m a passionate believer in the power of stories to light up the darkness, and I love to cheer on young writers! I stopped writing in my teens and it was ten years before I rediscovered it, but I hope that here you’ll be encouraged to keep going, even when your writing isn’t where you want it to be yet.
Good writers are always learning and growing!
