Name Lists
Looking for inspiration? These lists have been gathered from books and all corners of the internet, and are sorted by category to help you find the perfect names for your awesome characters. (Also good for place names and animals.)
Need more name ideas?
Behind the Name is a fantastic website filled with info on name meanings and their history. You can search lists of names from all different countries and eras, and even try their random name generator. BUT BE WARNED: Writers using this site have been trapped in delicious research rabbit trails for hours at a time!
Baby name websites, like Nameberry, are another great resource for choosing your character names. Have fun!
